COACH JONNY
My name is Jonny Moreno, and I believe strength changes lives.
I’m a certified personal trainer, certified nutrition coach, and strength & conditioning coach with specialized education in women’s health and injury assessment. Whether someone is stepping off the couch for the first time, rebuilding after a setback, or chasing the next level of athletic performance, I design smart, individualized programs that meet people exactly where they are.
But my path into fitness didn’t start the way you might expect.
Back in 2012, I earned my first certification and began training at LA Fitness. I loved coaching people and seeing them grow stronger, but the heavy focus on sales never felt aligned with my heart. So life took me in another direction.
For six years, I worked in the biotech field as a lead chemist, including throughout the global pandemic. I’m proud of the work I did to help people during a critical time in the world. Still, deep down, I knew my calling lived somewhere else, on the training floor, building humans up, face to face, rep by rep.
That calling became Peak Fitness Lab.
At Peak Fitness Lab, the mission is simple: help people change their lives through fitness.
We all age. That’s a privilege. But how we age? That’s something we can influence.
Strength is what allows you to play with your kids without pain, travel the world with confidence, and maintain independence and vitality later in life. My job is to help you build a body that supports the life you want now and decades from now.
Every program we create is custom. Your goals, your history, your strengths, your limitations, all of it matters. No copy and paste workouts. No guessing. Just intentional, science backed training designed around you.
Who I Am Outside the Gym
I’m a family man first.
My beautiful wife and our two amazing kids are my entire world. They are my daily reminder of why I push so hard to build something meaningful. They are the reason I believe in showing up, doing the work, and creating a legacy of health, strength, and commitment.
